Radiance Global AI Hub hosted the OMNI AI International Film Competition Shanghai Edition from March 27 to March 29, 2026, in Shanghai.  The program was a three-day series of screenings, discussions, and industry events that brought together filmmakers, artificial intelligence technologists, students, and industry leaders to explore how AI is transforming storytelling, media production, and the creative economy.  It was our honor to have the Consul General of Australia in Shanghai, John Williams, attend and present the Best Film award. Organized in association with CreativeFitting and ElevenLabs, leading companies in AI powered creative production and voice technology, the program continued the success of last year’s SAISFF and was supported by the Australian Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, of which Radiance is a member.  The program attracted hundreds of attendees, including filmmakers, technology professionals, students, and creative industry participants, and received media coverage from partners including East West Media, Radii Media, and Spotlight.

The Chroma Awards is a global AI Film, Music Video, and Games competition that brings together emerging technology and creative talent to educate, empower, and spotlight the next generation of creators. As AI rapidly transforms media production, it expands creative potential while also facing industry skepticism, lowering barriers to entry and amplifying new voices. The competition showcases high quality work across Film, Music, and Games with transparency in how AI tools are used, while also providing practical support including education, free access to tools, cash prizes, and opportunities for distribution, internships, and employment.

Coming Soon: Season 2 of the Chroma Awards will be starting June of this year.
